Clearance without overlooking the rest of the tree
For a Howick or Pakuranga home, show the roofline, fence or driveway that needs clearance. If a branch extends over a neighbour’s garden, explain the access arrangements as well. We can discuss the work without treating the boundary as an automatic cutting line.
Pōhutukawa are part of Cockle Bay’s coastal planting, while Howick’s parks and streets also receive new trees. In a private garden, identify the species if you know it and explain the change you want. A mature tree and recent planting need different consideration.

Can pruning fix a tree affected by erosion?
Pruning alone does not establish that a tree is stable. If ground has changed around its roots, explain that when requesting an assessment so the site condition can be considered.
