Clearance at entrances and along drives
At a Huapai entrance near Tapu Road or a Riverhead property near Elliot Street, photograph the branches from the approach as well as from inside the garden. Explain whether the obstruction affects people walking, a parked vehicle or access to the house.
Kumeū-Huapai has a recorded fruit-growing history, and Council’s Schoolside Road plans include fruit trees. Identify the species on your property if known and tell us whether the priority is damaged growth, canopy structure or space around the house. Different trees may need different work.
For a longer Kumeū driveway, identify each point that needs attention instead of requesting a uniform cut along every tree. We can discuss suitable pruning, access between trees and removal of the cut branches. Mention gates, overhead lines and the vehicles that use the route.
